Azleena Idris

Azleena Idris is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate strategy and Islamic finance. Currently serving as Senior Director and Head of Strategy & ESG Office at Payments Network Malaysia since August 2019, Azleena is responsible for corporate strategy, planning, and ESG initiatives. Prior to this role, Azleena held the position of Director of Corporate Services, overseeing strategic operations and communications. In a multifaceted career, Azleena has contributed to the International Monetary Fund, The World Bank, Kuwait Finance House Malaysia as General Counsel, and Bank Negara Malaysia as Deputy Director of Islamic financial infrastructure development. Azleena's academic credentials include a TRIUM Global Executive MBA and various management programs from prestigious institutions, complemented by qualifications in law from Manchester Law School and the Legal Profession Qualifying Board.
