Thomas McKinnon

Thomas McKinnon is an accomplished professional in the financial and technology sectors, currently serving as the Country Lead for South Africa at Paystack since August 2025. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Chief Growth Officer at Lula from April 2020 to July 2025, where responsibilities included leading marketing, sales, product, and customer success teams to enhance customer satisfaction and drive growth. Thomas also served as Chief Operating Officer at Lulalend, overseeing various operational aspects, and previously as Head of Product at Virgin Money, managing product strategy for multiple financial offerings. Earlier career highlights include leadership roles at Vouch Base as Head of Product and Innovation (CTO) and as Digital Product Manager at SmartPublishing. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Informatics and a BA Hons in Political Science from the University of South Africa.
