Jamie Myers has significant experience in the education and media industries. They began their career in 2002 as a Teacher/Technology Coordinator at ABC Unified and later served in the same role at Chicago Public Schools from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, Jamie joined PBS SoCal, initially as the Director of Education and later as the Vice President of Education & Community Engagement. In 2015, Jamie was promoted to Chief Operations Officer at PBS SoCal (KOCE-TV), where they currently hold this position.
Jamie Myers obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology from California State University, Long Beach, which they completed from 2002 to 2005.
