Cara Liebenson, working at PBS since 2001, holds the position of Director of Standards & Practices in the Office of the General Counsel. Cara administers PBS National Program Funding Standards and Practices, reviewing program funders and ensuring compliance with prevailing nutritional standards. In addition, as the Assistant Director of General Audience Programming, Cara reviews proposals and completed programs to ensure alignment with National Programming Service content strategies, and recommends projects for further consideration to producers.
