Eric Posner

Eric Posner is an experienced legal professional with a diverse background in entertainment law and communications. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at the Public Broadcasting Service since December 2004, Eric advises on legal issues related to content acquisition and negotiation of various agreements. Prior experience includes roles as a Business Affairs Attorney, Director of Communications at Discovery Communications, and Senior Counsel in Legal Affairs, during which Eric managed significant transactions and developed internal communication strategies. Eric’s legal expertise is supported by a JD from American University Washington College of Law and a BA in Communications from the University at Albany.
