Karen Baile is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital strategy and operations. Currently serving as Vice President of PBS Digital, Strategy & Operations at the Public Broadcasting Service since 2007, Karen has successfully led various divisions, including Digital Analytics and PBS KIDS Digital, often starting these functions from the ground up. Previously, Karen was Senior Director at PBS Digital, where a key focus was on rebuilding the digital organization and launching PBS Video. Prior to PBS, Karen held significant roles at America Online from 1994 to 2007, including Executive Director for AOL Products, where leadership over strategy and operations projects was provided for a large organization amid technological transformations. Karen's academic background includes a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University.
