Ryan Barr is a Software Developer at Apryse, with a focus on C++ software development since January 2010. Prior experience includes two roles as a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia, where Ryan was awarded the NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award to develop software for a hand-held 3D cubic display and contributed to a proof of concept demo for Augmented Reality in surgical systems. Ryan's earlier experience encompasses quality assurance positions at Electronic Arts, where responsibilities ranged from testing Nintendo hand-held games to mentoring junior testers, and at QA Labs, where mobile game testing for a major client was conducted. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia, earned between 2004 and 2009.
