Florian Block

Florian Block is an experienced professional in the field of mathematics and finance, currently serving as Executive Director at PDT Partners since July 2014, following roles as Vice President and Associate within the same company. Prior to this position, Florian held the title of Visiting Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley from July 2012 to June 2014 and served as a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick from June 2011 to May 2012. Florian's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Michigan, completed in 2011, and a Diploma in Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich, awarded in 2005.
