Shazad Ahmed, MPH, currently serves as the Data and Analytics Lead at the Peace Corps, overseeing health portfolio data and mentoring four senior analysts across 30+ countries. Previously, Shazad was a Senior Manager at General Dynamics Information Technology, leading a team for the CDC's Division of Global HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis and optimizing workflows to enhance decision-making. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Data Analyst at ICF, creating interactive dashboards, and as a Senior Analyst at Social & Scientific Systems, participating in the National Children’s Study. Shazad's background also includes positions at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, DC Department of Health, and UNICEF, with a focus on health data analysis and research. Shazad holds a Master of Public Health in Global Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology and Physiology from the University of Maryland.
