Laura Heywood began their work experience in 2010 as a Bartender at Tokyo Industries (UK) and transitioned into the recruitment field in 2014 as a Senior International Executive Search Consultant at Finlay James. Laura then worked as a Digital Account Manager at Venn Digital in 2016 before moving to Auto Trader UK, where they held roles as a Digital Sales Account Manager and later as a Digital Account Director. Most recently, Laura served as a Customer Success Manager and Customer Success Team Lead - Retail at Peak starting in 2020.

Laura Heywood completed their GCSEs with 9 qualifications, achieving 5 A*s, 3 As, and 1 B at All Hallows Catholic College from 2002 to 2007. Laura then pursued A levels in German, English Literature, English Language, and Music Technology at the same college from 2007 to 2009. Finally, Laura graduated from The University of Manchester in 2013 with a degree in Linguistics (BA Hons) focusing on Linguistics and Anthropology.
