Before that, James held multiple roles at Bell Aliant. From October 2015 to November 2017, they were the Senior Leader of Customer Care and Technical Support for the Atlantic Canada region. From September 2014 to October 2015, they were the Senior Manager of RTOQ (Recruitment, Training, Onboarding, and Quality). Starting from August 2012 to September 2014, James worked as the Senior Manager of Vendor Performance.
In their earlier career, James worked at Convergys as the Senior Director of Client Services from June 2011 to July 2012. Prior to that, they were the Director of Operations and Program Services from August 2005 to June 2011. James also worked at ClientLogic as the Senior Operations Manager of Customer Sales and Service from September 2001 to August 2005.
Before their career in the customer service industry, James worked as a Territory Sales Manager at Bonneville Windows & Doors from April 1999 to August 2000. James started their career as an Assistant Manager at BEAVER LUMBER in May 1993 and held that role until August 1999.
James R. attended Acadia University from 1990 to 1993, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a field of study in Commerce. Following this, from 2000 to 2001, they attended the Information Technology Institute (ITI) and obtained a degree in AIT (Applied Information Technology).
