Behzad Barzegar

Behzad Barzegar has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Behzad currently works as a Market Operations Analyst at Peak Power Inc since March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Research Assistant at Polytechnique Montréal from September 2014 to March 2022. Behzad also worked as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University from September 2012 to August 2014, specifically at the Renewable Energy Storage Laboratory (RESL). In 2013, they worked as an Energy Analyst at Solar Global Solutions, where they evaluated battery storage performance for an off-grid street lighting application and tested lead-acid batteries. In 2012, they were an Energy Consultant at Fundy Tidal Inc.

Behzad Barzegar completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, which they pursued from 2014 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University between 2012 and 2014. Behzad'sundergraduate studies were conducted at K. N. Toosi University of Technology from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
