Derek Lim Soo is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. As the CEO of Peak Power Inc since February 2015, Derek has actively contributed to innovative energy solutions. Current memberships include the Forbes Business Council and YPO/WPO Canada, both established in 2022 and 2020 respectively. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Advanced Green Innovations, Vice President at both Suzlon Wind Energy A/S and Stirling Energy Systems, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Wind Energy Association. Derek also served as Sales Leader for Renewables at GE Power & Water and participated in General Electric's Commercial Leadership Program. Derek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University.
