Nicholas O'Connor

Nicholas O'Connor, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive trading experience. Currently, as a Senior Trader at PEAK6 since July 2015, Nicholas specializes in research-driven trading strategies focused on company fundamentals and volatility impact on the option surface. Prior to PEAK6, Nicholas operated as a self-employed trader from March 2011 to June 2014, engaging in proprietary trading of futures through the CME across various market hours. Nicholas's earlier experience includes serving as a Jr. Partner and Trader at Black Diamond Capital Group from June 2002 to March 2011, where recognition was received for exceeding profit goals. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Business Analytics from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington.
