Vasanta Majety

Vasanta Majety is an experienced investment analyst currently with Peak XV Partners since June 2023 and previously held the same title at Sequoia Capital from March to June 2023. Prior to these roles, Vasanta worked as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company from August 2021 to February 2023, and as a mentor at Cases for Change, supporting over 40 consulting aspirants. Internship experiences include Procter & Gamble, where a pre-placement offer was earned for future employment, and conducting research at the University of Tokyo on pedestrian flow dynamics. Additional internships at Praxair, Inc., and involvement in software development with the Autonomous Ground Vehicle Research Group have also contributed to a strong foundational background. Vasanta holds a dual degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and completed Class 12 at Sri Chaitanya Techno School in Bangalore.
