Peek Vision
Priya Morjaria is an experienced professional with a background in optometry and public health. Currently, Priya holds a position as the Head of Global Programme Design at Peek Vision and also works as an Assistant Professor at The International Centre for Eye Health and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London. With a PhD in Public Health and a strong educational foundation in optometry, Priya has also worked as an optometrist and research optometrist in various settings, including the NHS and academic institutions.
Peek Vision
Peek Vision is a social enterprise which develops smartphone technology and public health tools to help eye health organisations improve their services. We work in low- and middle-income countries with health providers, NGOs and governments. Our vision is to bring better vision and health to everybody. Over a billion people worldwide have preventable or curable vision impairment and rates are rising. For most cases, there are simple, cost effective treatments like cataract operations or glasses, yet they are out of reach. Peek and its partners are breaking down the barriers to receiving eye health care for the people who need it most.
