Peer Support Community Partners (PSCP) is a comprehensive resource for individuals, families, and organizations coping with grief and loss. 

PSCP tailors peer grief support programs to specific conditions, such as grief from substance-use-related death, death of loved ones from suicide, medical accidents, natural deaths, and other devastating circumstances. 

The PSCP mission and vision are to advance peer support into a viable field of practice and to improve the culture of grief support across the United States.   

PSCP’s peer support programs focus on person-centered care, trauma-informed practices, and community building, which says to those who have become isolated by grief, “You are not alone.” 

PSCP trainings are built around resilience, healing, and self-care with integrated measures for avoiding re-traumatization. These are implemented through field-tested activities tailored to peer helpers, bereaved individuals, and direct service providers. Individuals and groups may choose from peer-designed trainings on grief following substance-use-related deaths, how to help bereaved individuals, how to care for oneself in the midst of trauma, and more. 

PSCP’s community support programs can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any individual, family, company, or organization. PSCP  develops and sustains one-on-one, group, and hybrid support models. Personalized grief support models can include individualized peer grief support, assistance with post-death logistics, compassionate, emotional support, and more.
