Shawn Carpenter

Shawn Carpenter is the Founder and Managing Partner of Three Tree Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in startups leveraging technology to disrupt traditional markets, actively involved since October 2011. Additionally, Carpenter serves as an Angel Investor at Validia and as a Limited Partner and Advisor at Crosscut Ventures, contributing to the management of over $300 million in venture capital. Carpenter holds advisory roles at Trinity Cyber and American Weed Co., is a Pre-Series A Investor at PeerNova, and has made seed investments in BarTrack, Inc., KeyCaliber, and WUNDER. Carpenter's educational background includes a degree in Nuclear Physics from the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command, along with studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of South Dakota.
