Pencils of Promise
Debre Margaret Mary is an experienced Public Health professional with a focus on Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives. Since June 2014, Debre has worked as a Program Coordinator at Pencils of Promise, where responsibilities include organizing workshops for educators, supervising WASH activities, and deploying necessary infrastructure in schools. Prior experience includes a role as a Public Health Officer at Ghana Health Service, assisting with nurse training and monitoring, and an internship at Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Kumasi, providing services across various health units. Debre holds a Master of Science in Environment and Public Health from KNUST and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Management from Catholic University of Ghana, along with a secondary education from Mawuko Girls Senior High School.
