Sarah Holderman has extensive experience in financial management and customer service within the utility and mining industries. Currently serving as Director of Customer Services and Treasurer at Pend Oreille County Public Utility District since March 2013, Sarah has been responsible for cash management, investment of District funds, and the development of the annual budget. In addition to these responsibilities, Sarah served as Co-Interim General Manager. Prior experience includes roles at Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation, where responsibilities included cash-flow management, budget development, and risk management, and at Regence BlueShield of Idaho as an Actuary I. Sarah holds a Master of Business Administration from Gonzaga University and dual Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of Idaho.

Pend Oreille PUD was established in 1936 and commenced operations in 1948. The District’s reporting entity consists of four primary component units, or operating systems. The Electric System distributes electricity to residential and other consumers in Pend Oreille County. The Box Canyon Production System produces hydroelectric power from the Box Canyon Hydroelectric Project. The Water System consists of nine individual water distribution subdivisions. The Community Network System supplies wholesale broadband communication service
