Amber Smith is an experienced software engineer with a strong focus on backend development in GoLang and Java. At Pendo.io since January 2020, Amber has progressed through roles as a Software Engineer and Tech Lead, contributing to the reliability and scalability of the data ingestion pipeline. Prior experience includes a position as a Senior Software Engineer at Oracle NetSuite, where Amber was part of the Sending + Tracking team, and a series of software development roles at Credit Suisse, including positions in Fixed Income Credit eTrading and Rates. Additionally, Amber is active in the community as a hike leader for the Women of the Triangle Hiking Club, guiding groups of women in outdoor adventures. Amber holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Elon University, earned in 2014.
