Bob McGunnigle

Bob McGunnigle is a seasoned professional in commercial real estate and portfolio management, currently serving as Senior Vice President at PenFed Credit Union since March 2024. Prior to this role, Bob held the position of Sr Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer at Encina Capital Partners, LLC from July 2022 to March 2024. Bob's extensive experience includes serving as Special Assets Officer - CRE at Capital One, Managing Director at KIMBERLITE, and Principal at Bancroft Real Estate Advisors, LLC. Additionally, Bob spent over 16 years at GE Capital Real Estate, culminating in the role of Managing Director and Head of US Underwriting. Earlier in a military career, Bob served as a Lieutenant in the Civil Engineering Corps of the US Navy from 1994 to 1999. Bob holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
