Carlos Vieira is an experienced golf course superintendent with a career spanning over two decades in the golf and landscape management industries. Currently serving as Golf Course Superintendent at Penha Longa, a Ritz-Carlton Resort since May 2014, Carlos has previously held similar roles at Montado Hotel & Golf Resort and Lisbon Sports Club, along with positions as a greenkeeper consultant and landscape manager. With a background in project coordination at COBA - Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Carlos was instrumental in implementing Portugal's national GIS model for olive production. Carlos holds degrees in Agronomy and Crop Science from Instituto Superior de Agronomia, completing education between 1993 and 2000.
