Subalakshmi Viswanathan, CFA has extensive work experience in the field of risk management and product control within the oil trading industry. Subalakshmi served as the Head of Product Control, Asia at Peninsula Petroleum from 2017 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Senior Risk Manager at Maersk Oil Trading from 2011 to 2017. Subalakshmi also worked at Chemoil Energy Limited as a Risk Manager from 2009 to 2011, and as a Risk Analyst from 2007 to 2008. Subalakshmi started their career at Chemoil Advanced Management Services as a Trade Officer from 2005 to 2006.

Subalakshmi Viswanathan, CFA, obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women in 2002. Subalakshmi then pursued an MBA in Finance and an M.S (Finance) degree from ICFAI Business School, both completed in 2005. In 2015, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
