Tom F. has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Tom began their career at EY as a Staff/Senior Auditor, where they gained experience in auditing and assurance services. Tom then moved on to Spot Trading LLC as a Finance Operations Analyst before returning to EY as a Manager in Commodity Trading Risk Management. In this role, they worked with major clients such as BP and gained expertise in coordinating audit and advisory engagements in the commodity trading industry. Tom F. then joined Seatankers UK, where they acted as a shareholder representative for the Fredriksen Group, focusing primarily on the group's oil trading companies, the Arcadia Group. During their time at Seatankers UK, they advised the Fredriksen Group on global family office restructuring. After that, Tom F. became the Chief Financial Officer at Arcadia Petroleum Ltd, where they were responsible for managing accounting and finance teams, legal matters, credit risk, reporting, tax planning, and banking relationships. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Peninsula Petroleum, where they have a broad remit over the finance function of the Peninsula Group.

Tom F. attended Michigan State University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting. Tom then continued their education at the same university from 2005 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting.
