Steve Yurich

Steve Yurich is an experienced information security professional and academic, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Penn State Harrisburg since January 2022 and as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Penn National Insurance since February 2019. With a strong background in information security management, Yurich previously held roles such as Information Security Manager at Armstrong Flooring, where responsibilities included formalizing and implementing the Information Security Management program, and Information Security and Risk Manager at Parsons Brinckerhoff, focusing on IT risk assessment and policy development. Yurich also served as Security Division Chief for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, managing various security-related operations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Penn State University.
