James Delattre

James Delattre currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Research and Director of the Office of Entrepreneurship & Commercialization at Penn State University, a role held since October 2014, where responsibilities include directing statewide entrepreneurship programming through Invent Penn State. Prior to this position, James Delattre was with NanoHorizons from 2006 to October 2014, taking on roles including Assistant Vice President for Research and Director of Entrepreneurship & Commercialization, as well as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing and Director of R&D. Earlier experience includes a Research Associate position at Università degli Studi di Bari from December 2002 to January 2005 and a Research Assistant role at Novellus Systems, which was later acquired by Lam Research Corporation, from 2000 to 2002. Academically, James Delattre earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Penn State University.
