Jim Nourse

Jim Nourse is an experienced professional in web strategy and digital transformation, currently serving as the Senior Director of Web Strategy in the Office of Strategic Communications at Penn State University since January 2017. Nourse has been instrumental in initiating a major digital transformation aimed at enhancing the prospective student experience through a centralized digital platform that integrates various digital touchpoints. Previously, Nourse held multiple roles at Penn State, including Director and Assistant Director of Web Products and Platforms. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Web Software Developer at the University of California, San Francisco, where leadership in developing enterprise-class software and contributing to an operational excellence initiative was prominent. Nourse's career also includes web development roles at Dartmouth College, technology start-ups in Hong Kong, WBUR National Public Radio, and Harvard University. Nourse holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Lafayette College.
