Joseph M Cullen Cfa

Joseph M. Cullen, CFA, CAIA, FRM, currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Penn State University since September 2019. Prior to this role, Joseph held the position of Chief Investment Officer at the Montana Board of Investments from 2015 to 2019. Joseph has extensive experience in portfolio management and investment strategies, having worked at Fidelity Investments as the Head of Institutional Portfolio Management, where management of $180 billion in Target Date assets was a key responsibility. Previous positions include Senior Investment Manager at Amherst College, Senior Manager at Lucent Asset Management Corporation, and various roles focused on fixed income portfolio management at M&I Investment Management, Lincoln Financial Group, and The Boston Company Asset Management, LLC. Joseph holds an MSIA from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ripon College.
