Yvette Richardson is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of meteorology, currently serving as the Senior Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and a Professor of Meteorology at Penn State University since January 2002. With a rich background that includes roles as Associate Dean and both Associate and Assistant Professor within the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, Yvette has significantly contributed to undergraduate education. Prior experience includes leadership as Chair of the President's Advisory Committee on University Relations at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research and as a Councilor for the American Meteorological Society. Yvette holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and a Doctor of Philosophy in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
