Maggie Smith has held various financial and managerial roles throughout their career. Maggie began as an Accountant at KPMG in 1994 and later worked as a Senior Finance Manager at Air Canada Jazz from 2000 to 2004. From 2005 to 2009, they served as an Information & Governance Officer at ATS Andlauer Income Fund. Maggie then joined TFI International Inc. in 2011 as a Vice President, a role they held until 2018. Most recently, they worked at Pennecon, first as the Vice President of Finance and Operations in 2019 and later becoming the Chief Financial Officer in 2020.
Maggie Smith completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from Memorial University of Newfoundland between 1993 and 1998. Maggie then pursued a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia from 1998 to 2000.
