Paul Godfrey

Paul Godfrey is the Group Finance Director at Pennon Group Plc since June 2024, overseeing all group finance functions including financial control and regulatory reporting. Previously, Paul served as the Senior Finance Director at Merlin Entertainments from October 2018 to May 2024, managing financial strategy for Gateway attractions and Resort Theme Parks, and implementing a new procurement system to enhance efficiency. Additionally, Paul held roles as Chairman of the Board and Non-Executive Board Member for the SEA LIFE Trust, focusing on ocean conservation efforts. Earlier experience includes positions at Flybe as Director of Finance and at British Airways in various senior finance roles, where accountability extended to financial performance at numerous global airport operations. Paul holds an MBA from Henley Business School and completed an advanced executive development program at Harvard Business School.
