Pasi Fränti is a Professor at the University of Eastern Finland since 2000, bringing extensive experience in the field of computer science. Fränti served as an Opponent at Tampere University of Technology in 2008 and worked as a Post-doctoral researcher at the Academy of Finland from 1996 to 1999. Earlier in the academic career, Fränti held the position of Assistant at the University of Turku between 1992 and 1995. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science obtained from the University of Turku in 1994, following a Master's degree in the same field earned from the same institution in 1991.
