Rob Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Rob started their career in the UK Ministry of Defence as a FastStream member from April 2006 to June 2008. Later, they joined Towers Watson as an Actuarial Analyst from June 2008 to September 2010. In 2010, they transitioned to Prudential Assurance and served as the Group Actuary for their Group Actuarial division from October 2010 to October 2013. Rob then took on the role of Group Actuary in Group Finance Transformation Programmes from October 2013 to August 2014. Following that, Rob joined the Bank of England as a Senior Actuary for the Prudential Regulation Authority from August 2014 to July 2016. Rob then became the Stress Testing Delivery Manager for Supervisory Risk Specialists at the PRA from July 2016 to October 2017. Currently, they are working at Pension Insurance Corporation plc, where they started as the Head of Actuarial Assurance/Senior Actuary from October 2017 to June 2021. Rob now holds the position of Head of Strategic Initiatives, starting from June 2021.

Rob Harris attended the University of Cambridge from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering. Rob then continued their studies at the same institution from 2002 to 2006, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering.
