Petr Drbohlav has extensive work experience with People in Need, starting in 2005 and continuing to the present. Petr has held various roles within the organization, including Country Director, Regional Director for Asia, and NSP Country Manager. Their most recent position is Regional Director for Eastern Partnership and Balkans, which they have held since March 2020.
Petr Drbohlav pursued their education in a systematic manner, focusing on sustainable rural development and international relations. From 2012 to 2017, they attended the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sustainable Rural Development. Prior to that, between 1998 and 2004, they completed a Master's degree in International Relations at the Prague University of Economics and Business. In 2002, they participated in the Erasmus Exchange Program at the University of Cologne, which provided him with valuable international exposure and experience.
