Yavor Georgiev is a legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and investment law. Currently serving as a Commercial and Investment Legal Counsel at People's Partnership since September 2023, Yavor previously held the position of Legal Counsel at the Pension Protection Fund from November 2017 to September 2023, focusing on general commercial, investment, pensions, regulatory, and litigation matters. Prior roles include a Paralegal at KPMG, where Yavor reviewed and negotiated various contracts, and an Associate at the Financial Conduct Authority, ensuring compliance with UK and EU legislation. Additional experience includes serving as a Senior Adjudicator at the Financial Ombudsman Service and interning at Penkov, Markov & Partners, and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria. Yavor holds an LPC from BPP Law School, an LLM in International and Commercial Law from the University of Greenwich, and a Bachelor of Laws from the same institution.
