Katelyn Barker

Katelyn Barker currently serves as the Manager of Special Events at Pepperdine University since March 2024. Prior to this role, Katelyn was a Wedding Coordinator at Gerry Ranch Weddings from May 2021 to March 2024, where responsibilities included planning and coordinating over 75 weddings annually, managing client meetings, creating venue layouts, and maintaining vendor relationships. Katelyn also held the position of Kitchen Manager for the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity from August 2020 to May 2021, overseeing meal planning and inventory management. Earlier experience includes serving as a Server/Host at Cho Cho San Japanese Restaurant, where Katelyn focused on customer satisfaction and staff training. Katelyn earned a degree in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University between 2018 and 2022, after graduating from Thousand Oaks High School in 2018.
