Lei Zhao

Lei Zhao has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), and multi-physics modeling. Since 2016, Lei Zhao has held various leadership roles at PepsiCo, currently serving as Director and previously as Sr. Principal Engineer and Principal Engineer, focusing on food production, processing, packaging, and new process development. Prior to this, Lei Zhao worked as a Mechanical Engineer at DuPont from 2012 to 2016, specializing in CFD modeling and polymer processing. Academic background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans, along with Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Science and Technology of China, respectively. Research experience includes gas turbine heat transfer and wind turbine studies.
