James Weston

James Weston has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James started in 2009 as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Tokyo, where they conducted research on dependability in chip multiprocessors. James then worked as an iOS Developer at VouChaCha from 2010 to 2013, responsible for developing the VouChaCha iPhone SDK and partner applications. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior iOS Developer at Shopwave, where they maintained and developed the core point of sale product. Most recently, they have been working at Percent since 2015, first as a Lead iOS Developer and currently as the Head of Engineering.

James Weston completed their education in a chronological manner. James started their academic journey in 2002 at the University of Kent, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Systems Engineering. This program lasted until 2005. Following their undergraduate studies, James Weston proceeded to the same institution to undertake a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering. James dedicated three years to this program, from 2005 to 2008, ultimately obtaining a Ph.D. degree.
