Tom Hinsman

Tom Hinsman is a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Perceptron since April 2017, bringing extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering. Prior to this role, Tom worked at Ilmor Engineering, Inc. from October 2007 to March 2017 as a Design Engineer, focusing on the packaging and layout of new engine assemblies, as well as the design and procurement of diverse components. Earlier experience includes a position as a Design/Application Engineer at Kulick Enterprises/CRESIT from January 2007 to October 2007, where responsibilities encompassed customer specification processing, manufacturing drawings, component manufacturing, and designing racking for solar and wind arrays. Tom also served as an intern in a similar capacity at Kulick Enterprises/CRESIT. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer-Aided Design from Eastern Michigan University, earned between 2002 and 2007.
