Abhishek Thakur has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Abhishek started their career at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. in 2006 as an Application Developer, where they were involved in the implementation of a common ERP finance platform for Lastminute.com. Abhishek then joined SAP Labs in 2007 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on projects such as SAP Business ByDesign and the Substitution maintenance tool. In 2010, they moved to Fujitsu America as a Technical Lead and later as a Senior IT Consultant, where they led various SAP implementation projects and worked on modules such as SD, FI, MM, and SAP -CRM/TPM. Since 2018, they have been working at Perdue Farms as an IT Tech Lead and a Sr. ABAP Developer.
Abhishek Thakur completed their Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) degree in Computer Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology in 2006. Abhishek also obtained another B. Tech. degree in Computer Science from the same institute during the same time period.

Arthur W. Perdue founded Perdue Farms in 1920 but the company gained national attention as a brand name in the 1970s when son and successor, Franklin P. Perdue, became television pitchman for the company. Today, Jim Perdue, grandson of the founder, is the chief executive and the face of Perdue on television. The company sells chicken and turkey products to food retailers and food service companies in the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. and exports poultry products to more than 70 foreign countries around the world. Perdue runs two soybean-processing plants that produce vegetable oils and ingredients for animal feed.
