Gregg Uecker is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in supply chain and operations management. Currently serving as the Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer at Perdue Farms, Uecker has held significant leadership positions at CJ Foods as EVP Global Supply Chain for CJ Schwan's and at Tyson Foods, where responsibilities included SVP Operations and Supply Chain for Prepared Foods, SVP Supply Chain Strategy, and SVP/General Manager for Processed Meats. Uecker's career began at IBP INC with roles such as Maintenance Management Business Process Owner and Process Engineer. Uecker holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with an Emphasis in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota, obtained between 1987 and 1992.

Arthur W. Perdue founded Perdue Farms in 1920 but the company gained national attention as a brand name in the 1970s when son and successor, Franklin P. Perdue, became television pitchman for the company. Today, Jim Perdue, grandson of the founder, is the chief executive and the face of Perdue on television. The company sells chicken and turkey products to food retailers and food service companies in the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. and exports poultry products to more than 70 foreign countries around the world. Perdue runs two soybean-processing plants that produce vegetable oils and ingredients for animal feed.
