Alex Wilmot-Sitwell

Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell is the Chairman of Perella Weinberg Partners UK and is based in London. He also serves as the Co-Head of PWP’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leadership Council.

Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell has more than 30 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in September of 2018, Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell was President of Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch with responsibility for the execution and development of the bank’s strategy and business activities in the EMEA region. From 1996 to 2012, Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell was with UBS, serving in numerous leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of the Asia Pacific region at UBS AG, Co-CEO of UBS Investment Bank, and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking Department. Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell began his career at Robert Fleming in the corporate finance department in South Africa.

Over his career, he has actively worked with clients across multiple sectors and geographies and across a wide range of situations, including Anglo American, Lloyds Banking Group, Old Mutual, Shell, Diageo, Prudential, and Mondi.

Mr. Wilmot-Sitwell earned a degree from Bristol University. He is currently Chairman of the Development Board of the University of Bristol and is a Pro-Chancellor of the university.
