Anthony Schwartz

Anthony Schwartz is a Managing Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business, based in Chicago. He is a member of the Firm’s Global Industrials team with a particular focus on the broader automotive, mobility and aftermarket sectors.

Since 2006, Mr. Schwartz has advised on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, and restructuring transactions for corporate clients and financial sponsors globally.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in 2020, Mr. Schwartz spent approximately five years with Citigroup’s Investment Banking division, where he most recently served as a Director in the Global Automotive team. At Citigroup, Mr. Schwartz advised Ford Motor Company on Volkswagen AG’s $2.6 billion investment in Argo AI; and, General Motors Co. on its $2.3 billion divestiture of its European business, among other transactions.

Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Schwartz spent more than nine years at Macquarie Capital, and its predecessor companies Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Caronia Waller and Cochran Caronia Waller, advising clients in the insurance sector, most recently as a Vice President. At Macquarie, Mr. Schwartz advised Tokio Marine Holdings on its $2.7 billion acquisition of Delphi Financial Group; Westrope on its sale to R-T Specialty, a subsidiary of Ryan Specialty Group; Cooper Gay on its merger with Swett & Crawford; Colemont Insurance Brokers on its combination with AmWINS Group; and Allied North America on its sale to Aon Corp., among other advisory assignments.

Mr. Schwartz earned a B.S.B.A. from Creighton University with a double major in Finance and German.
