Sofia Gomez

Sofia Gomez is currently a Sports Medicine Student Assistant at The Lennar Foundation Medical Center, where responsibilities include assisting clinical staff with surveys for outcomes data and patient interaction. Sofia also serves as Treasurer and Volunteer Chair for PERIOD., managing the club's budget and coordinating volunteer events. Previous experience includes working as a Medical Scribe at Coral Gables Cardiology Associates PA, conducting patient intakes and electrocardiograms, as well as serving as a Medical Records Intern, where tasks involved managing patient files and clerical support. Sofia is pursuing a degree in Health Sciences and Gender and Sexuality Studies with a focus on Pre-Medicine at the University of Miami, having previously earned an Associate of Arts from Doral College and a high school diploma from International Studies Charter High School.
