Andrew Johnston is an experienced Information Technology professional with a diverse background in IT management and systems administration. Currently serving as the Information Technology Administrator at Permaconn since August 2020, Andrew Johnston oversees the Support Services team and is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems while resolving enterprise technology issues. Prior to this role, Andrew Johnston worked at the University of Sydney for over a decade, including positions as IT Systems Manager and Senior Systems Administrator, where responsibilities encompassed business workflow analysis, security compliance, and ICT infrastructure redesign. Earlier in the career, Andrew Johnston was the IT Manager for Oceania at Sigma Aldrich, managing multiple data centers and server infrastructure. Andrew Johnston holds a Masters of Networking and Systems Administration from Charles Sturt University, alongside a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and additional degrees in chemistry from Massey University.
