Marcus Black has a diverse work experience in finance and operations management. Marcus started their career in 2001 as the CFO at Boar's Rock Pty Ltd, where they stayed until 2010. During this time, they also served as the General Manager at Boar's Rock BFL from 2003 to 2010. In 2010, they joined Pernod Ricard Winemakers as the Finance Manager - Operations until 2012. Marcus then transitioned to Pernod Ricard Winemakers USA, where they held roles as Finance Director from 2012 to 2014 and later became the Vice President Finance from 2014 to 2020. Currently, they are working at Pernod Ricard Winemakers as the Global Operations Finance Director since September 2021. Marcus also served as the Transformation Project Director at Pernod Ricard Winemakers from 2020 to 2021.
Marcus Black attended St Ignatius College Adelaide from 1980 to 1989. Marcus then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce at the University of Adelaide from 1991 to 1993. Additionally, they completed a program at CPA Australia in 1996, although the specific degree and field of study are not stated.
