Karim Younis, PMP® has worked in various roles in the automation engineering field since 2008. Karim began their professional career as a student at Cairo University. In 2016, they joined Automac as an Industrial Automation Engineer, where they were responsible for designing, selecting, programming, commissioning, and maintaining programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, variable speed drives, and control panels. In 2018, they joined Vanderlande as an R&D Control Engineer via ICT Group, and in 2020 they returned to Vanderlande in the same role. In 2018, they also joined ICT Group as a Control Designer and Control Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Perpetual Next as a Factory Automation Engineer.

Karim Younis obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electric Power and Machines from Cairo University between 2009 and 2014. In 2021, they obtained a data analysis professional certification from Udacity and a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org. In March 2022, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
