Calum Davies

Calum Davies currently serves as the External Affairs Manager at Persimmon Homes since June 2023 and holds the position of Non Executive Director at Cardiff Bus from June 2022. As a Cardiff City Councillor for the Radyr & Morganstown ward, Davies is a Welsh Conservative councillor actively involved in several committees, including chairing the Policy Review & Performance Committee starting in 2025. Prior to recent roles, Davies held various positions within the Welsh Conservatives, including Senior Adviser and Senior Communications Officer until June 2023, and contributed to membership engagement as Chair and Deputy Chairman for Membership with Cardiff Central Conservatives from March 2019 to June 2022. Previous experience includes serving as the Welsh Policy & Public Affairs Officer at the National Residential Landlords Association and as a Communications & Research Officer for the Welsh Conservative Assembly Group. Davies' academic background includes a B.A. (Hons) in Politics and Modern History from The University of Manchester, completed in 2017.
