Akshata R Thakar

Akshata R Thakar is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Assistant General Manager (Business HR) at UltraTech Cement since November 2023. Prior to this role, Akshata was the Unit Head HR at Persistent Systems from August 2022 to October 2023, and held the position of Senior Manager HRBP at Birlasoft from August 2018 to July 2022. Akshata's career in human resources began at WIPRO BPO as a Human Resources Executive, followed by a Manager role at KPIT from July 2007 to July 2018. Akshata completed an HR Executive Development Program at XLRI - VIL Programs in 2021 and holds a degree in Management Studies with a focus on Human Resources Management from the University of Mumbai.
